They discharge their regulatory mandate by formulating and enforcing regulations and policies that must be adhered to by the healthcare professionals in the country. However, the major difference between the two bodies is that they have different powers because it depends on the roles and mandate given to them. Whereas the Nursing and Midwifery Board is only concerned about the nurses and midwifes, AHPRA is an overall body that regulates the activities of all the 14 national boards across the nation. It ensures that all the boards use consistent regulations aimed at providing safe care to the general Australian public. The current Continuing professional development (CPD) came into force on June 1, 2016. It states that all the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and midwifes interested in CPD must have successfully finished at least 20 hours of CPD after registration; or between 5 and 20 hours for the professionals registered less than one year before the renewal of registration. These are the qualifications that must be met by all the practitioners otherwise no approval can be granted. They are all important because they provide the Australians with an opportunity to be served by competent and qualified practitioners who are guided by the ethical codes of conduct and standards governing the profession (Burston Tuckett, 2013). The National Framework for the Development of Decision Making Tools for Nursing and Midwifery is a very important document in Australia. Nurses and midwifes are always confronted with challenging situations which require serious and well-thought decisions to be made. However, it should be much better if all the decisions are made in line with well outlined frameworks. This is why the document was developed. Reference can be made to the framework if there is need to make consistent decisions in the profession. If this is done, the practitioners can be empowered to make feasible and well-guided decisions that can enhance quality service delivery (Smith Parker, 2015). This is what all Australians are looking for. Quality standards and accreditation criteria used in the country are very important because they bring sanity to healthcare sector in many ways. First, the standards help in the improvement of quality of healthcare services delivered to the Australian public. High quality standards should always be maintained by the healthcare providers. Greek Myths Section I:"Odysseus the most cunning man in the world." Odysseus, son of Procris and Cephalus of the Royal House of Athens, played a major role in the Trojan War. However, the legends of Odysseus do not begin until after the great war. At the end of the war he was separated from the rest of the Greek armies and was forced to wander for ten years until he was reunited with his family. His journeys in those ten years were very similar to Jason's journey in his search for the Golden Fleece. Also, in the course of Odysseus' adventures, he proved himself to be not only a great hero but also a cunning and resourceful man, worthy of the title the most cunning man in the world. There are many similarities between the adventures of Jason and those of Odysseus'. Both heroes proved themselves to be mighty warriors; Jason, when forced to battle against the soldiers of the dragon teeth and Odysseus during the long battles of Troy. Both heroes showed extreme courage in the face of danger and neither shied from doing what was necessary to complete their quest. Both men were also very modest and were able to except help when needed, either form gods or from other mortals. Jason did not hesitate to ask for help from the princess Medea. Odysseus accepted help from a simple sheep herder in order to reclaim his home. Although these two heroes had similar adventures and shared similar qualities, they were very different. The first difference we notice between these two heroes is their lineage. Like most Greek heroes, Jason was a direct descendant of the gods. Odysseus on the other hand was not. He was a member of the Royal House of Athens and not divine as were many of his peers and relatives. Odysseus was also more compassionate than Jason. Jason used people to his own end and then disregarded them. An example of this would be his relationship with Medea. She made him into the hero he was, saved his life many times, and left her homeland to follow her love Jason. Jason, however, upon reaching home with the Golden Fleece, decided to marry a princess to gain more political power. He made this decision with no thought towards Medea's feelings and her love for him. Odysseus, in contrast, was far more loyal to his family and followers. He placed their happiness and safety on an equal or greater level then his own. For instance, when he was on the island with Calypso, the nymph, it would have been very easy for him to abandon his desire to return home and live in perfect comfort forever. We see his concern again on the Island with the witch Circe. After the witch had turned all of Odysseus's companions into swine, Odysseus with little or no thought for his own safety, went to confront the witch to save his crew. However, the most notable difference between these heroes lies not in they're adventures but rather in how they approached and dealt with their problems. Jason, like most Greek heroes, felt that the easiest way to deal with a problem was to kill it. Odysseus, on the other hand thought of other possible solutions to his problems. He would try to use his intellect as well as his brawn to accomplish his goals. Throughout his adventures and as early as the Trojan War, we see Odysseus's cunning. It is he who is attributed with the idea for the Trojan horse (a large hollow horse filled with Greek soldiers). A second example was when he landed on the island of the Cyclops during his adventures. The Cyclops demanded to know who he was to which he answered "I am Noman" With those words he shot an arrow and blinded the Cyclops's one eye. During Odysseus' retreat, another cyclops approached the first and asked what happened to his eye. The first cyclops responded that no man had shot his eye. This ensured Odysseus's escape from the island because the second cyclops didn't realize there were intruders. A last example of his cunning is at the end of his adventures. Odysseus returned home and found all the suitors there. Dressed as a beggar, he had no trouble retaking his bow and then killing all of the suitors. So we see that Odysseus could rely on both his wit and his strength to save him from dangerous situations. This is why he was given the title " the most cunning

Electronic mail use is rapidly becoming more commonplace in the business world than a telephone call. The speed, cost, and flexibility of electronic mail have made electronic mail the definitive choice for today’s business communications. McCune (1997) stated, â€Å"E-mail, otherwise known as electronic mail, is the latest corporate communications tool† (p. 14). Employees today are turning more to e-mail than to their telephones and fax machines for communication. This new high-tech form of communication brings a new set of guidelines and potential problems for employees and employers: e-mail etiquette, e-mail overload, and e-mail harassment. To prevent potential problems, e-mails in the workplace should adhere to business guidelines. One business guideline employees should adhere to limits the number of non-work related e-mail sent and received while at work. Today, many employees receive an overwhelming number of e-mails which can cause e-mail overload. Ingham (2003) explained that â€Å"E-mail overload occurs when the number of e-mails being sent and received becomes too difficult to manage, overwhelming the user† (p.166). Due to the speed and low overhead of e-mail communications, e-mailing has become the preferred method of communication for most businesses. Most work-related e-mails are short business-related notes, memos, and reminders to and from coworkers which are easily managed. Beyond business-related e-mails, employees receive e-mails from friends and family. These personal matters also distract an employee from work related matters. Employees who use their work e-mail addresses for personal matters also often receive unsolicited spam mail. To avoid e-mail overload, employees should strive to minimize the number of personal e-mails they compose and accept at their work address. By limiting themselves to work related matters employees can avoid e-mail overload and be more productive with their work time. When I first started this class I had a bad eating habit, I was always on the go, so grabbing a quick lunch or a snack fit right into my schedule. In the first week of class I did the healthy eating plan and it shocked me at the results. I was doing major damage to my body. I never thought about the consequences that my food choices had on my body. Since finding about my eating I have tried tremendously to eat healthier. In this essay I will discuss my past eating habits and my current eating habits as well as what I plan on doing about my current circumstances. As a child I was taught how to eat correctly and how to have vegetables with every meal. My mother could not stress enough not to be eating junk food all the time and how to brush our teeth after every meal. As I grew up and had children of my own I tried to teach them the same thing. The thing is I do not practice what I preach. I am on the go every day, and have a very strict schedule. While I am at work on my lunch break I have thirty minutes to eat, smoke, and relax. I do what every other person would do when it is food already cooked, I grab a quick hot or cold lunch eat and clock back in to work. I noticed that I gained a great deal of pounds within a short period of time, but I always made excuses for it. Come to find out it was all because of my eating habit. I eat a candy bar on every break and something hot on every lunch. I did some research on the coffee and it shows that it is not bad for you at all. It actually helps lower the risks of many diseases by 20-25%. The diseases it helps with are type 2 diabetes, cirrhosis, and colorectal cancer. When I do cook a meal, I will most of the time cook a meat, starch, and have a choice of two vegetables. Sometimes, I cannot always do that though because of my work schedule, household duties, and schoolwork that I have to keep up with everyday. I think that after completing the first exercise I learned how to mix it up. I try to mix up my eating, so if I cook or eat something that is not good for me, I will follow up with something that I know is. For example if I eat pancakes with maple syrup in the morning for breakfast, I will also eat a bowl of fruit to balance out my eating. If I eat some cake or snacks before eating dinner I learned to also have some healthy vegetables or what I am trying now a salad in between there to help balance it out. Eating healthy is something hard to try especially after a person has been one way their entire life. Change cannot happen overnight, but I learned my problem and I am working on it. I still have many problems in my eating habits that are not healthy but I made that will help me balance it out. I try to choose wisely from the main food groups, but eating on the go most of your day will not always allow for me to do that. I think the most important part of this assignment was to learn my bad problems, and I have. It might take a little bit of time to change my whole eating pattern but I know it can be fixed.
